The DevQuake art gallery is open

By ProxySys1 min read

DevQuake now has its own art gallery. Every signed-in member can show their art there: drawings, paintings, photos, digital work, with the idea behind each piece in their own words. Visitors can look around without an account.

Show your art your way

  • Your own artist page at an address you choose, with your bio, statement, colours and a banner, as a grid, masonry or list.
  • Each work gets a title, its concept, medium, year, size and tags, and you decide who sees it: only you, people with the link, members or everyone.
  • Group works into series and build your own exhibitions, with opening and closing dates.
  • A certificate of authorship for every work: the fingerprint of your original file and the time you uploaded it.

Your work stays yours

  • Your original is stored privately: only you can download it. Others only ever see protected versions.
  • Visitors see your work without a watermark, but saving the picture gives a scrambled copy; the watermark (your name, stylish and readable) is on everything that is shared.
  • Downloads are off unless you allow them, with or without the watermark, for personal use only.
  • A new work very similar to another artist’s is pointed out to our team and to that artist.

Meet other artists

  • Like, comment and promote other artists’ works; your promotions appear on your own page.
  • Share works on your social networks, or showcase them in the blog with “Showcase in the blog”.
  • Embed any public work in a blog post; its artist is told when the post goes live.
  • Report anything that breaks the rules: our team looks at every report.

Get started

Everyone starts with 50 MB of space for their works; if you need more, ask for it from your gallery profile.
