Never miss a vaccination: looking after your pets together
By Lorant Alexandru Kurazs1 min read
A pet is part of the family, and looking after it is a shared job. Pet care keeps that job organised, so the dog gets fed exactly once and the cat’s vaccination is never forgotten.
Health, with reminders
Record vaccinations, deworming, vet visits and medicines. The app sends email reminders before the next one is due, so you have time to book the appointment.
A rota everyone can see
A daily feeding and walking rota shows who does what. Whoever fed the dog ticks it off, and everyone else sees it. No more double breakfasts, and no more hungry looks when everybody thought someone else had done it.
Weight and the important details
A weight log with a chart helps you notice changes early. The pet’s profile keeps the details you need in a hurry: chip number, the vet’s contact and other notes.
Family and pet sitters
Invite family members with a link. When you travel, invite a pet sitter until a chosen day: they see the rota and the notes they need while you are away, and their access ends on its own.
Good habits for healthy pets
- Weigh your pet on the same day each month, ideally at the same time of day.
- Keep the vet’s phone number in the profile, not only in your phone.
- Write short notes after vet visits. A few months later they are surprisingly useful.
Connected to the family planner, rota jobs can go to anyone in your family, children and grandparents too; connected to shopping lists, your pet’s food goes on the list in one step.
