A developer’s workshop for everyday problems.

DevQuake is a personal, non-commercial website for building web applications that serve real needs. It started as a way to solve a developer’s own daily struggles, one small app at a time, and every app is open to anyone who finds it useful for their own projects, or who needs a similar problem solved or managed.

Each app lives on its own subdomain and one account signs you in to all of them. Have an idea or a problem worth solving? Tell us about it.

What’s new in Workout tracker

Version 0.19.0latest

  • Training reminders also show as a notification: the bell in the toolbar (and on devquake.com) lists them. Reminder emails and notifications come only while you are subscribed.
  • Calendars across apps: the plan page shows “From your other apps”, the next 31 days of the apps you connected — family events (shared ones included), shopping days and bill due dates — each opening in its app.
  • Works with Shared shopping lists and the utility bill manager; connected apps can show your planned training sessions (routine names and times only).
  • “Works with” now has “Disconnect” for a connected app: the two stop working together, your subscriptions and everything you made stay. Connecting again is free.

Version 0.18.0

  • Works with the family planner: on the plan page, put your weekly training in the family calendar (sending it again updates it) and open the calendar with a way back here. “Works with” at the bottom of the page lists the apps that fit together.

Version 0.17.0

  • Your year of birth can come from your DevQuake account: allow the workout tracker once (on the profile or setup page) and it uses the same year as every other app; changing it here changes it everywhere.

Version 0.16.0

  • “Set the treadmill for me”: on treadmills that allow it, the app sets the routine’s speed and incline step by step when the exercise starts. Change anything on the treadmill and it is yours for that exercise.
  • Set a maximum heart rate in your profile: near it the app never speeds the treadmill up, above it the treadmill slows down and the coach tells you.
  • On iPhone and iPad, the treadmill connection works in the free Bluefy browser; the app now says so.
  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.15.0

  • Treadmill exercises have the belt’s speed and incline: set both when you build a routine, and the workout shows them so you can set the machine. Speeds follow your units (km/h or mph).
  • Type how long an exercise lasts in minutes or seconds with the switch next to it; durations start in minutes.
  • The rest can be typed in minutes or seconds too, in the routine builder and in a routine’s settings; it starts in seconds.
  • The coach sounds more natural: sentences are no longer cut off. A countdown number waits for the sentence before it, a sentence that has to make way fades out, and the first workout gives the introduction time to finish.
  • Connect your treadmill over Bluetooth: on a treadmill exercise, see its speed, incline, distance, time, kcal and heart rate live. The app remembers it and offers “Connect to” with its name next time. A heart-rate monitor (chest strap or watch) can connect too. Works in Chrome or Edge on Android and computers.

Version 0.14.1

  • The body choice in your profile (the body shown in an exercise’s info) shows its labels in your language again.

Version 0.14.0

  • Remove all planned workouts at once to set up a new plan, or remove a single one. Removing applies from today on: workouts you already did stay in your history.
  • The change and remove buttons of a planned workout are icons under it (with a tooltip), so they always fit in the day.
  • Forgot a month’s progress photo? Skip that month: its empty photo and its reminder go away, and you can undo it.
  • The section you are in is now marked in the tabs under the title.
  • Deleting a photo or discarding a workout asks in the app’s own window.

Version 0.13.0

  • Sets can move on by themselves: after a set’s estimated time and an 8-second countdown, it is saved as suggested, the rest starts and then the next set (timed sets start by themselves too). Tap anything during a set to confirm it yourself. Turn it on or off, and set the rest between sets, on each routine’s page, suggested routines included.
  • Number fields are easy to change on a phone: tapping one selects its value, and you can delete it and type a new one.
  • New exercises: wrist curl, reverse wrist curl, farmer’s carry, dead hang and hand gripper for your grip, reverse curl, dumbbell reverse lunge, rear delt fly, chest-supported reverse fly, cable rear delt fly and incline dumbbell fly.
  • Find exercises faster when building a routine: search by name, equipment or body part, and filter by body part and equipment.
  • The ⓘ next to an exercise shows the body parts it works on a male or female body (choose yours in your profile), with its equipment and how to do it.

Version 0.12.0

  • Add the app to your home screen: on phones and tablets, the new button in the toolbar puts the app’s icon (its logo with the DevQuake badge) on your home screen, so it opens like an app.

Version 0.11.0

  • A natural voice coach: the coach now speaks with real human-sounding voices in every language (an adult man or a woman: Ryan and Sonia in English, Conrad and Katja in German, Emil and Alina in Romanian, Tamás and Noémi in Hungarian), no matter which voices your device has. The male voice is clear and crisp. You can still choose your device's own voice in the speech settings.
  • The mute and speech settings buttons moved up to the toolbar, on the right of the app's name.

Version 0.10.0

  • The voice coach speaks clearly in German, Romanian and Hungarian: it uses the most natural voice your device has for the language, never an English voice reading other languages, and no longer distorts the voice to make it male or female.
  • Choose the exact voice of your device in the speech settings; if your device has no voice for your language, the settings tell you how to add one.
  • The speech settings always fit the screen, on phones too (portrait and landscape), and scroll when needed.
  • A tidier toolbar on every screen: the app’s name (tap it for the start page), full screen and the DevQuake mark. The manual and version notes moved to the bottom of the page; your language and theme are set in your DevQuake account.

Version 0.9.0

  • Progress photos: your starting photo now stays fixed, and next to it you step through your monthly photos with the arrows, the arrow keys or a swipe, to see how much you changed month by month. The slider view shows the two on top of each other.
  • At the end of every month, the home screen and Progress remind you to take the month’s photo. Missed it? You can still add last month’s photo during the first week of the new month.

Version 0.8.3

  • If your sign-in ends while you plan a workout, build a routine or create an exercise, what you entered is no longer lost: it stays on your device, a link takes you to sign in again, and afterwards the form is filled in as you left it.
  • A short hiccup on our side while checking your sign-in no longer asks you to sign in again; you are asked to try again in a moment instead.

Version 0.8.2

  • Your plan in your calendar on every device: iPhone, iPad and Mac add it to Calendar, computers download a file for Outlook or Windows Calendar, and Android (or Google Calendar on a computer) gets a link per workout that opens Google Calendar with it filled in.
  • After adding or changing a planned workout, you see what was added and are taken back to the top of the form.

Version 0.8.1

  • The male coach voice now works on every device: iPhones and Macs no longer pick one of their joke voices, and where there is no male voice for your language, a deeper one is made from the voice you have.
  • "Add to my calendar" now opens in the Calendar app on iPhone and iPad (in Safari, tap Add All).

Version 0.8.0

  • A full screen button in the toolbar, where your browser allows it (not on iPhone).

Version 0.7.0

  • A new voice style, Crazy: with the male voice an army drill sergeant, with the female voice a bossy boss. Both push you through every set and to the end of your workout.
  • The male voice now always sounds male: if your phone has no male voice for your language, the coach makes one with a deeper pitch (and a higher one for the female voice).
  • Your own exercises: name them, choose the movement, how they are measured, where, equipment and muscles. The moving figure is chosen automatically. Use them in your own routines.
  • Reminders for your plan: an email at the start or 10, 30 or 60 minutes before, at your local time, and a calendar file for your phone's calendar.
  • Children from 6 years old can have a profile; up to 12 they get easier body-weight exercises.
  • On tablets and phones held sideways, the workout screen fits: the figure and the buttons sit side by side, and the time and progress stay at the top.

Version 0.6.0

  • Build your own routines: pick exercises, sets, repetitions, time or distance and rests, in any order. Only you can see them, and they stay when your suggested routines are made again. Change or delete them any time, or start from a copy of a suggested routine.
  • A weekly plan: put routines at a time of day, every day or on chosen weekdays, several a day if you like. The app makes sure they never overlap, and your home screen shows today's plan with a Start button.

Version 0.5.0

  • The app's logo is shown next to its name in the toolbar and as the browser tab icon.
  • New to the app? You can try it free for 24 hours before subscribing.

Version 0.4.0

  • A user manual, opened from Manual (the ? button) in the toolbar. It explains the setup, a guided workout, the voice coach, the calendar, progress photos and the monthly email step by step, and can be read before you sign up.

Version 0.3.0

  • A voice coach: during a workout your phone counts down before each exercise and at the end of every rest, announces sets, rests and the next exercise, and cheers you on. Choose a female or male voice and a calm, normal or motivational style, or mute it, from the toolbar.
  • Encouraging words during rests and after every workout, with what went better than last time and your personal records.
  • A calendar of your workouts: see a day, a month or a year, with your time, calories, sets, repetitions and streaks. Tap a day for its details.
  • Progress photos: add a starting photo when you set up (or later in your profile), a photo for every month and year, and compare before and after. Only you can see them.
  • A monthly summary email on the 1st with your numbers and a link to your calendar. You can turn it off in your profile.
  • Suggested repetitions now depend on how hard each exercise is: fewer for pull-ups, more for calf raises.
  • You stay signed in while a workout is running.

Version 0.2.0

  • The workout tracker now makes routines for you. Tell it your year of birth, height and weight (in cm or ft, kg or lb), your experience and your goal, and where you train: at the gym, at home or outside. For home, tick the equipment you have.
  • You get three routines for each place, each starting with a warm-up, with an estimate of the time and the calories. You can have them made again from your profile.
  • A guided workout made for your phone: a moving figure shows each exercise, the app suggests how many repetitions to do, you enter how many you did, and it moves on to the next exercise by itself, with rest timers in between.
  • What you enter is saved by itself after 10 seconds. Without a connection it waits on your phone and is sent when you are back online.
  • After the workout you see the total time, the time for each exercise, the calories (an estimate) and what the app suggests for next time.

Version 0.1.1

  • The app now has its own storage, ready for saving your workouts. Nothing changes for you yet.

Version 0.1.0

  • The first preview of the workout tracker. You open it with your DevQuake account, without signing in again.
  • A sample week shows what the app will look like. Logging your own workouts comes next.

What’s new in Shared shopping

Version 0.12.0latest

  • Calendars across apps: under the calendar, “From your other apps” lists the next 31 days of the apps you connected — family events (shared ones included), training sessions and bill due dates — each opening in its app.
  • Works with the family planner, the workout tracker and the utility bill manager; the family planner and the others can show your shopping days (list names and dates only).
  • “Works with” now has “Disconnect” for a connected app: the two stop working together, your subscriptions and everything you made stay. Connecting again is free.

Version 0.11.0

  • Works with the family planner: once you connect the two on DevQuake, your open lists show on the family’s Today page, the family can add items to them, and a tap opens the list here with a way back. “Works with” at the bottom of the page lists the apps that fit together.

Version 0.10.1

  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.10.0

  • Add the app to your home screen: on phones and tablets, the new button in the toolbar puts the app’s icon (its logo with the DevQuake badge) on your home screen, so it opens like an app.

Version 0.9.0

  • While shopping, Correct price saves the price on the shelf; the planned price is kept next to it.
  • New in Statistics: Prices over time, how the prices of your products change and how close your planned prices were.
  • Copy lists to other days: one list to a day, a week or a month, a whole week to the rest of the month, or a whole month to the rest of the year.
  • In shopping mode, adding a product is folded away at the top, so the list comes first.
  • Notifications: Clear all, or remove them one by one; the list always fits the screen.
  • A tidier toolbar on every screen: the app’s name (tap it for the start page), full screen and the DevQuake mark. The manual and version notes moved to the bottom of the page; your language and theme are set in your DevQuake account.

Version 0.8.0

  • A full screen button in the toolbar, where your browser allows it (not on iPhone).

Version 0.7.0

  • The app's logo is shown next to its name in the toolbar and as the browser tab icon.
  • New to the app? You can try it free for 24 hours before subscribing.

Version 0.6.0

  • The app is now available in German, Romanian and Hungarian as well as English. Pick a language with the globe in the toolbar. DevQuake remembers your choice. On your first visit it uses your browser's language if it is one of these, and English otherwise.
  • Everything is translated: the screens, the user manual, notifications and error messages. Dates, weekdays and prices are written the way your language writes them.
  • Each language has its own address (for example /de/help), so search engines can show the manual in your language.

Version 0.5.1

  • The buttons on the Today screen stay readable when you point at them in the dark theme.
  • The user manual now explains who can see your lists: only you and the people on each list.

Version 0.5.0

  • The owner of a list can delete it from Share & settings. It disappears for everyone on it, with its invite links, notifications and product photos.
  • Your statistics stay the same after a list is deleted: what was planned and bought on it still counts for everyone who was on it.
  • If a list is deleted while you have it open, you see a short message and a link back to your lists.

Version 0.4.1

  • The user manual can be read without an account, so you can see how the app works before signing up. It is also linked from the app's card on DevQuake.

Version 0.4.0

  • Not needed: strike out a product that is no longer needed. If it was already bought, it stays in the list with a darker background and a 🙃, and statistics show the money spent on things that were not needed.
  • Notifications inside the app: a bell with what your friends did on shared lists, pop-ups for new changes and, if you allow it, system notifications while the app is open in a background tab.
  • The app's version is shown in the toolbar and footer; click it to see what changed.

Version 0.3.0

  • Product photos: add one when creating or editing a product. Photos are made smaller on your device before uploading, and only people on the list can see them.
  • Suggestions from your own shopping: the product field suggests what you bought before (accents do not matter) and can fill in the whole row: unit, quantity, last price, description, store and photo.
  • "Usual products": one tap adds a frequently bought product with everything from last time.
  • The home screen (Today, Calendar, Statistics) now updates by itself when anything changes on your lists, like open lists already did.

Version 0.2.0

  • Every list has a shopping date (date picker, today by default).
  • Home screen with swipeable tabs: Today (today's lists with products, prices and totals per store), Calendar (week, month and year views of all lists), New list (create or join) and Statistics (totals per currency, stores, spending per month, most bought products with price history, and how often each friend joined your lists).
  • Products need a name and a unit; the quantity is optional (counts as 1).
  • A user manual, opened from Manual in the toolbar.

Version 0.1.0

  • Shared shopping lists with members, invitations, stores and products.
  • Lists with a currency; products with quantity, unit, price per unit and description; totals per store, "still to buy" and the whole list; shopping mode; clearing bought products.
  • Stores with name, type, location and description; store types from a catalogue (food, home improvement, electronics, apparel, health and beauty), filled in automatically for well-known chains.
  • Sharing by invite link, code or QR code (which you can renew), and by adding friends you invited to DevQuake with one tap.
  • Changes by others appear on an open list within a few seconds.
  • Your lists are handed over or removed properly when you delete your DevQuake account.

My Vault

CompletedOnlineWeb app1 NPS point0 using now 1 like 5.0 out of 5, average of 1 ratingv0.3.1

Show details

A place where user can store private information which will be stored in a way that it's encoded and crypted via an autogenerated security key (vault key) which will be applied over the message content which key will automatically be sent out to the vault entries recipients after user defined time duration and only with a defined clause like the user who created the vault entry did not login since 3 or x number of days or months. The idea is to store private information which only the user can decrypt via entering a vault key and a three question form about the user which the owner of the value can define like birth date, full name, serial number or any other question which answers type can be defined either as date, string, numbers, single select or multi select questionary. The attempts of decoding the vault entry will be traced and after 3 attempts the user who wants to decrypt the message does not succeed the vault entry becomes locked for 36 hours which only the owner of the vault entry can unblock after he will check who exactly tried to decrypt it and what were the answers. When defining the questionary for sure the owner defines the correct answers. From community idea #1 by Lorant Alexandru Kurazs. 1 vote: Lorikr6.

What’s new in My Vault

Version 0.3.1latest

  • Unlocking and deleting an entry now ask in the app’s own window instead of the browser’s, and a short message confirms when it is done.

Version 0.3.0

  • Start a new entry from a suggested type: Car (details, RCA, ITP, rovinietă, CASCO, service and fuel log), Papers (IDs, insurance, warranties, subscriptions and their dates) or Health (blood type, allergies, medicines, measurements, appointments, vaccinations). The form is encrypted on your device like the rest of the entry.
  • An open entry shows what is coming up (expiring papers, ITP, refills, appointments), a car’s costs per km and consumption, and what renewing your papers costs in a year.
  • New categories: cars and vehicles, and health.

Version 0.2.1

  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.2.0

  • Add the app to your home screen: on phones and tablets, the new button in the toolbar puts the app’s icon (its logo with the DevQuake badge) on your home screen, so it opens like an app.

Version 0.1.0

  • Keep private information in vault entries: a note, secret fields (like PINs) and files, encrypted on your device before they are saved.
  • Each entry opens only with its vault key (shown once to you) and the answers to three questions you choose: a date, text, a number, one or several choices.
  • Keep entries private forever, or choose people from your DevQuake referrals who receive the key if you do not use DevQuake for a number of days or months (optionally not before a date). You are warned by email before.
  • Every try to open an entry is recorded; after 3 wrong tries it is locked for 36 hours, you get an email and can review who tried and what they answered, and unlock it.

Version 0.8.0latest

  • Works with the meal planner: the meals you planned show in the family calendar.

Version 0.7.0

  • Event reminders also show as a notification: the bell in the toolbar (and on devquake.com) lists them. Reminder emails and notifications come only while you are subscribed.
  • Calendars across apps: the family calendar also shows your shopping days, training sessions and the due dates of unpaid utility bills from the apps you connected, each with “Open in …”.

Version 0.6.0

  • Event photos: once an event has started, everyone who sees it can add photos from the camera or the library, as many as their family has members, replace them, add a comment and tag people (pick a member or type a name). Open any photo full screen and swipe or use the arrows to move between them. Find them under “Photos” in the calendar.

Version 0.5.0

  • Works with Shared shopping lists: connect them on DevQuake and the Today page shows your open lists, opens them with a way back here, and adds items in one step.
  • Works with the workout tracker: your weekly training can be put in the family calendar, with “Open in Workout” on those events.

  • Family picture: the family’s creator can add a picture or logo, shown next to the family’s name.

Version 0.2.0

  • Invite links with a role: choose parent, child or helper, and whoever opens the link while signed in joins with that role at once, a child with their own account too. People from your DevQuake referrals can be added with a role as well.
  • Connected families: connect with the family of grandparents, cousins or friends with a link. Both families see each other’s members and can invite them to events.
  • Events for more than one family: tick who is invited from your family and connected families (everyone is ticked to start with), and add the place and the details. Events of a connected family show in your calendar with who organizes them.
  • Reminders by email: the organizer chooses 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week before, and everyone invited who has an account gets them, in their own language.

Version 0.1.1

  • Typing in the forms (a member’s year of birth, a chore, an event) no longer jumps out of the field after each key.
  • The year of birth is checked: four digits and not in the future, and parents and helpers must be over 18.

Version 0.1.0

  • The family planner is here: create your family, add the children (with or without their own account) and invite the other parent, grandparents or a babysitter with a link, a code or a QR code.
  • Chores that repeat once, every day or on some weekdays, done by everyone or taking turns fairly, with points for each one.
  • Today’s chores for every member in one place: tick them when they are done, or undo a tick.
  • Points and rewards: parents turn points into pocket money or rewards and can give bonus points, with the latest entries for everyone to see.
  • A family calendar, two weeks at a time, with all-day and weekly events for the whole family or for some members, always in your own time zone.

  • Nutrition per portion, diets with the reason they fit (for example “28 g protein per portion”) and the 14 EU allergens.
  • Cooking mode: one step per screen in big text, timers that beep, a voice that reads the steps, and the screen stays on.

Version 0.1.0latest

  • Plan the week’s meals for your household: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, with recipes from your cookbook or meals you type in.
  • Add who eats, with their portion: the servings to cook are filled in, and leftovers can be planned on purpose.
  • Suggest a week for your diet, without your allergens and dislikes, no recipe twice.
  • Nutrition per person and day against simple targets.
  • The whole week as one shopping list: the same ingredients are added up.
  • Reminders the evening before (“take the chicken out of the freezer”), by email and as a notification.
  • Invite your household by link; planners change the household, everyone can add, swap and tick meals. The meals show in the family calendar when connected.
  • A meal can have several parts: recipes from your Cookbook and simple items like bread or yogurt.
  • Save a meal to reuse it, and make it public: others can add it to their plan, recommend it and comment, and you get a notification and the comment in your messages.
  • Suggestions to connect the Cookbook and your shopping lists where they help.

What’s new in Utility bill manager

Version 0.5.0latest

  • Works with the family planner, Shared shopping lists and the workout tracker: connect them on DevQuake (“Works with” at the bottom of the page) and disconnect them there any time.
  • Calendars across apps: under the calendar, “From your other apps” lists the next 31 days of the apps you connected — family events (shared ones included), shopping days and training sessions — each opening in its app. Connected apps can show the due dates of your unpaid bills (the utility’s name only, no amounts).

Version 0.4.1

  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.4.0

  • Add the app to your home screen: on phones and tablets, the new button in the toolbar puts the app’s icon (its logo with the DevQuake badge) on your home screen, so it opens like an app.

Version 0.3.0

  • Meter photos: take one with the camera or choose one from your photo library.
  • View-only members: the manager can let a family member see every bill without having a share or paying.
  • Confirmed payments are locked, and the person who paid gets an email with the whole bill, their consumption and share, and a link to the bill and its PDF.
  • A tidier toolbar on every screen: the app’s name (tap it for the start page), full screen and the DevQuake mark. The manual and version notes moved to the bottom of the page; your language and theme are set in your DevQuake account.

Version 0.2.0

  • Your address is now asked in parts (country, state or county, city, street, number and an optional apartment), with suggestions from OpenStreetMap as you type. If you saved an address before, you are asked to complete it once.

Version 0.1.0

  • Add your utilities (electricity, gas, water, heating, phone, cable TV, internet, online hosting, Xbox, Microsoft, Apple, Steam or anything else) and collect their bills month by month.
  • Upload the provider’s PDF: the app tries to read the total, consumption, unit price and due date; anything it cannot read you type into the same form.
  • Share a utility with an invite link, a QR code or directly with people from your DevQuake referrals. Only the people on a utility can see its bills.
  • “Individual meter required”: everyone sends a photo of their meter with the index for every bill; the app tries to read the index from the photo.
  • Fair split: consumption × unit price for each person, with anything the meters do not cover shared equally; without meters the bill is split equally.
  • The manager records what each person paid (cash, card or other); paying more or less is carried over to the next bill. Paid bills get a green check mark, others a warning.
  • Comments on every bill, a month and year calendar of your own part, and statistics on consumption, payments and prices per category.
  • Your name and address in your profile, shown only to the people you share a utility with.

A game manager for darts: boards with QR codes, live scoring on an interactive dartboard and checkout suggestions.

What’s new in Darts4Fun

Version 0.5.2latest

  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.5.1

  • The section you are in (Start, Practice, Casual, Tournaments, Statistics, Profile) is now marked in the tabs under the title.

Version 0.5.0

  • Score progress: every game, and every match of a tournament, shows visit by visit what each player threw and their score after it, with a chart of how the scores went. Search a player’s name to see only their visits, a summary of how they scored, and whom they played.

Version 0.4.0

  • A short notification now confirms what you did: the game or tournament was created, the settings, board or profile were saved, a round started, a link was copied, and so on.
  • Deleting or removing something now asks in the app’s own window, which says what will happen, instead of the browser’s pop-up.

Version 0.3.0

  • Every option of a new game or tournament now explains what your choice means: the start score, double in, double/single/master out, legs, the Cricket variant, rounds, lives and the drill settings.

Version 0.2.0

  • See what you have left as you enter each dart: the scoreboard and a “Left” box update straight away, and in Cricket your marks fill in dart by dart.
  • The send button now says what happens: “Next: Ana”, “Next visit”, “Bust · next: Ana”, “Win the leg” or “Win the game!”; until all darts are in, it tells you how many are still missing.
  • A trophy celebration when a game is won.
  • A faster keypad: one tap per dart with Double and Treble keys, keyboard shortcuts on a computer, and one-click visits with the finishes, your own frequent visits and common scores at that point of the game.
  • The screen no longer jumps while you enter darts: messages and suggestions keep their place.

Version 0.1.1

  • Clearer suggestions while you play: “Where to aim next” names every dart in words (for example Treble 20 → Double 20, or 7 in any ring), shows whether to throw them in order, and says in a sentence what each one does, such as which score it finishes or which number comes next.

Version 0.1.0

  • Set up your darts profile: your name at the board, throwing hand, level, how you enter scores and your favourite double.
  • Practise alone with 501/301, Cricket, Shanghai, Around the Clock, Count-Up, or target and finishing drills; every visit and its three darts are kept.
  • Play casual games with friends who join by code or QR code: the host starts the game and can remove a player so someone else can join. Killer for up to 8 players.
  • Enter darts by tapping the dartboard or with a keypad (+ / −, single, double, treble). Every dart is checked with the rules, and up to three suggestions show the finish or targets that bring you closest to winning.
  • Run tournaments on your boards: each board has its own QR code, players are placed on boards, the app suggests who plays whom by strength and you can swap players. Entry fee, your share and who paid are tracked, and the bracket updates live.
  • Watch any match live with its link, without being able to change the score.
  • Your own statistics: results per mode, every opponent, average, best visits and finishes, where your darts land, the scores you throw most, and your strong and weak skills, with practice drills made for your weak spots.

What’s new in Pet care

Version 0.1.0latest

  • Keep a log for each pet: species, breed, birthday and age, chip and passport numbers, vet, insurance, usual food, notes and a photo.
  • Care with reminders: vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, vet visits, medicines and grooming with their next date. Mark them done and repeating care moves on to its next date; everyone looking after the pet gets an email 3 days before and on the day.
  • A daily rota for feeding, walks and other jobs, at a time and on chosen days, for anyone or one person. Whoever did it ticks it, also for the past week.
  • A weight log with a chart.

  • Works with your shopping lists (put the pet’s food on a list) and the family planner (care dates in the family calendar).

Pulse API

A realtime event service: apps send actions and connected clients receive live updates and push notifications.

What’s new in Pulse API

Version 0.4.1latest

  • People who do not use the app yet now see what it does on its front page, with a link to the user manual, and shared links show the app’s own picture.

Version 0.4.0

  • Check it live: open the new demo in two browsers (signed in to the same account) and send a message or your own JSON from one to the other through the real Pulse API. The other browser shows what arrived and how long it took, from the sender to the server, from the server to the browser and in total, with the average, fastest and slowest. Free on every plan, on a private channel only you can use.

Version 0.3.0

  • API calls are counted: your service's page shows how many calls it received in total, in short form (like 1.2K or 100K; the exact number when you point at it), how many were refused, and the latest calls with their answer and how long they took.
  • For DevQuake admins: the totals of all services, the size of the call log, and cleaning the log now or automatically every 1, 7, 30 or 90 days. Cleaning the log never changes the totals. When Pulse cannot start, admins now see which setting is missing.

Version 0.2.0

  • Add the app to your home screen: on phones and tablets, the new button in the toolbar puts the app’s icon (its logo with the DevQuake badge) on your home screen, so it opens like an app.

Version 0.1.0

  • Create API services and get a public key for your web pages and a secret key for your server (shown once, never stored; make a new one any time, the old one keeps working for 24 hours).
  • Send events with your own key:value data and receive them live in every connected browser, with a polling fallback where live connections are blocked; clients that reconnect catch up on what they missed.
  • Describe your own data structure per event (keys, types, required) and optionally refuse everything else.
  • Security: the public key only works on websites you verified with a DNS record, the secret key is refused in web pages and can be tied to your servers' addresses, private channels need short-lived client tokens, and a security log warns you when a key seems to be shared.
  • A live test to try everything with two devices, ready-to-copy code, and usage per day. Try it free for 24 hours (slower on purpose) or subscribe; ask us for full access.
